Despite concerns over COVID-19, Monroe County Meals On Wheels is seeing an uptick in new volunteers.
The nonprofit serves homebound seniors and residents so that they may remain independent and safe.
Dave Super has been volunteering at Monroe County Meals On Wheels for the past seven years and COVID-19 isn’t going to stop him.
Super says, “I’m not nervous. We’ll take proper precautions. We’ll wear gloves and it’ll be fine.”
